We make every effort to make the whole of the Oliver's Catering website as accessible to as many visitors as possible, this site complies with the recommendations laid down by the recent Disability Discrimination Act (2002). We have undertaken extensive testing on a variety of browsers, screen resolutions and platforms to make sure everything works the way it's supposed to. This web site is also available as an accessible text only version and uses BETSIE, a simple Perl script, which is intended to alleviate some of the problems experienced by people using text to speech systems for web browsing. Betsie is currently used on the BBC website and on a number of other sites around the world.

The design and layout is controlled through CSS. This allows for easy changes to the colour scheme, font sizes and styles and even new layouts without having to delve to deeply into the underlying code of the site.

If you happen to be using a pre-version 4 browser you will not see the same layout as those with later browser versions. Chances are you will have already received a polite notice encouraging you to upgrade your browser. Upgrading is free and will allow you to view this (and many, many more websites throughout the World Wide Web,) the way they were intended to be viewed.
